Keyence optical microscope (VHX-7000) gives magnified images of samples at the micron and sub-micron scale through the high-resolution lenses in both transmission and reflection modes. By controlling the types of illumination, the sample can be imaged in bright-field or dark-field mode. Also, the incoming polarisation can be controlled by a rotatable polariser. The sample can be precisely moved by a motorized stage in all XYZ directions. The fine control of image stitching makes 3D image/profile capturing available. All operations can be done in automatic mode with high-speed auto-focus capture, image stitching and advanced surface analysis.
